my birthday could always be like any other normal day, but it was made special by all my fabulous friends out there! Muacks to you all! =))The people i wanna give a million thanks to! :
first, to LI CHIEN for Surf's Up, Secret Recipe, Ben and Jerry's and the Irish cream chocolates that are absolutely divine on the 28th.

i need a screwdriver badly. and the big kind too. math was as horrid as expected and i got screwed inside out. i couldn't even recognise a right angle CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?! o.O
econs was surprisingly better. hahaha.. maybe because i didn't even study for it. AT ALL. just crapped through it and im amazed at my new found ability to crap. i couldn't even write so much when i did study! i felt a sense of liberation after the paper. x)
tomorrow is the LAST paper. woohoo!

ok. i know what you're thinking. i cant help it la.. gotta use the computer a bit first before embarking on that mountain stack of BIO~.I HATE using LTs for exams cause they give you a horrible neck ache+back ache!!

GP paper is finally over. Compre was surprisingly easier than i thought. But i think i screwed my summary. Fwahahaha. And my compo was HORRENDOUS.

i miss talking on the phone. back in sec school, i talked on the phone a lot. mainly with cui xia and for up to hours too. but my point is, this form of communication is lost. now its SMS SMS SMS. with whoever, its SMS. thinking about it, i realised i've barely called a single friend to talk on the phone these 2 years, unless it was urgent stuff that required immediate attention. its sad to think about it.alright, gotta go. accompanying my dad to do his LASIK surgery.

i was watching tv when suddenly this black bird came crashing through my wide open window like a plane accident. It was freaky!!
From ben's room, i threw this white peg (gently) in hope to nudge it from where it was standing but it still refused to move! When i finally mustered up the courage to go near it, it ran straight to under my sofa! It stayed in there, refusing to come out. I was thinking, thank goodness i didnt have a cat or it would probably be mauled to death by now. o.O
Anyway, i shifted the sofa away and granny tried to shoo it out the window. BUT IT DIDNT FLY OUT. It ran amok towards the hall and now it's hiding under my red sofa. We're guessing that bird is injured so we decided to leave it alone until my dad gets home.

One year ago, we formed the 5th Board of Directors for e club. One year later, we resume our student identity, and go back to the separate ways from where we came from. Though i may see them in school, its just different because we're no longer a group called the 5th BOD.
I'm gonna miss them so very very much.

Went to watch Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Though it wasn't as exciting as the first show, i still have a lot a lot of fun, cause the accompaniment was fantastic. Hanging with the 5th board is always fun, no matter if we are having meetings or just going out. If just any one isn't there, it wouldn't feel complete. That's probably the reason why we made sure MingJie could make it for today's outing. And talk about MJ nia. Us the 4 girls were dumbfounded when we saw him cause he looked so different from the other times when we went out. Hair styled, outfit was very nice. Not the usual tshirt and pants. Took us awhile to get over the hype. lol.

After the movie we went to shop around. i think we're lucky to have guys who actually shop. lol. and i got an unexpected 收获 from M Industrie. 2 tops for $30. Nice nice. I think we made a lot of noise too. Haha.. everywhere we walked we talked. Sometimes we'll even end up standing in the middle of nowhere, like in front of some shop, and start to talk and talk and talk. in the end we settled down at Gelare and chatted away till MJ complained about his MUGGING WITHDRAWAL SYNDROME. That totally stole the attention away from his dressing. and it was such a wet blanket too!! Grrr... He went on and on about books and notes and studying that when i realised i was going to take the train with him all the way back to PR, i was devastated. Hahaha.. thank god for Seumas and Jun Qi. Anyway, no regrets being in the exco. I may not really miss E Club but i'll definitely miss the times with the BOD. Having meetings, all ganging up against MJ (lol), just plain crapping, digressing from our main aims... etc etc etc. We'll definitely have to arrange more outings after the A's. And after NS to see what has become of our boys. Fwaha.
16th June 2007
A day out to celebrate Father's Day. First stop was branch at Red Star for dim sum. After the meal Ben smacked a blue note onto the table and proclaimed he'll pay for half the meal. Mum and I were shocked momentarily and she thought he found that note on the floor. LOL. We went to Concourse to get fake flowers for home decor and then it was shopping time! Headed down to Centrepoint first. I finally got a blouse. My waredrobe is too full with tee shirts. xP Tea time at Coffee Bean. We also tried the donuts from Swissbake, which ST rated 0.5 stars more than Donut factory. SO DON'T AGREE WITH THE REVIEW. I'll even demote it a star less to 3.5 stars out of 5. Maybe its good when its fresh but they don't do it like Donut Factory does so as the day goes on, the donuts just go cold. Oh, and there were only TWO flavours. -.-
After that we moved on to another building. Scotts I think. But anyway, i got my dad a shirt from TopMan as his Father's Day gift. Initially when i picked it out for him, his reaction was "Eee! NO." I was irritated nia. I insisted he try it on first before he even tries to convince me it wont look good on him. And so, into the changing room he went. Final impression: "Not bad leh." -.-
Off to Tangs and Borders after that. Dinner was at Harry's at Orchard Parade Hotel. Mexican food is good, but not when you get a gastric reflux at the end of the meal. Suffered a horrible throat burn all the way home. And the nachos there is way better than ones at Hogs Breath, which is already pretty good!
Still not the end leh! I think my parents had an adrenaline rush or something. After placing the flowers to where they should go, they cleaned up the house and kitchen. 9 plus at night. Woah. And they also wanted their chocolate fondue with strawberries. So i prepared it lo.
Ended the day at 12mn. Not bad nia.. 14 hours of celebrating Father's Day. Haha...

1st week of June is gonna be OVER and im havent even started mugging yet. :) someone shoot me. Fwaha. This first week has been crazy. i realised im been going out every single day and im slightly exhausted from the non-stop chain of activities. I just want to stay at home for a whole 24 hours! im a home-girl and proud to be one. :) and im still not at suaku as Adeline Tan aka mountain tortoise of all mountain tortoises. LOL.shall start my journey from last wed. dad and mum asked me out for shopping but it ended into an eating spree at hogs breath at vivo.
the nachos there simply rocks the house and the thai beef salad was not bad. top everything off with ice cold heineken and voila! perfect dinner.
ATTENTION LADIES. 50% off every tuesday for Ladies! We HAVE to go and have dinner there some day~ Sometimes you just cant complain being a girl. lol.
Then thursday was Grandma's birthday. Celebrated it with a 9-course lunch at SCC. Brennen was drama papa that day. He's cut out for theatre man! After that was DANCE CONCERT. The concert ive been looking forward to the most! Enjoyed myself that night. Marlene your choreography was great! I love the shadow part at the beginning and at the end esp! The hip hop routines were really good. The salsa.. hmm.. i felt that there was too much walking around but it was still good overall. But the tango, wow. The tango was WOOT! Farah and Zheya really stole the show. Too bad Meng Ai injured her leg. Cant imagine how it would feel to miss your last concert before stepping down.
Met with Tiff and Addie on Friday night to watch Shrek 3. It was ok i guess. Not fabulous or anything. Ben said it sucked cause it was really boring. Lol. The storyline this time round was more serious than the first 2 shows. I enjoyed them more than i did for this one. Ahh well trilogys are never completely good. There's bound to be a black sheep somewhere. After that we went to window shop at whatever remaining shops that were open. Had an enjoyable time with them! (and suaning Addie whenever we can. Fwaha!)
